With plenty of dorm beds and 4 private cabins with spectacular views of the lake and the Antioquia mountains is this beautiful idyllic traditional country house, the perfect place for relaxation and adventures. A little off the beaten track but a stone throw away from the all the tourist attractions.

Relax in the sun, read a book in a hammock or take a dip in the refreshing lake. We offer games like darts, mini pool table, cards, Jenga and have a small ‘theater’, a tv with Netflix account, couches and blankets.

Anything from kayaking, fishing or cycling can be arranged. Don’t miss out the local town of Guatape or for those who aren’t scared of heights, climbing up the rock is a must!

Enjoy our spacious deck in front of our restaurant with a beautiful panoramic view of the lake, Piedra del Peñol, mountains accompanied by wild birds and spectacular sunsets.

On our spacious deck with bar you can enjoy a beautiful sunset with a refreshing cocktail, beer, wine and much more. Don’t worry, when the nights get a little chilly you can warm up at our deck-side fire pit or hang out in our TV room with a fireplace.

Stroll through the streets of Guatapé, here is every building a work of art. Residents paint their houses and businesses in gorgeous bright colors, and decorate the bottom of every building with fresco-like panels called “zocalos.” It’s sometimes called the most colorful town in the world.

La piedra del Peñol “The Rock”

This rock is an enormous granite structure towering 120 meters high beside the lake with spectacular views of mountains, lakes, and countryside. The 702-step brick staircase takes you to the top where you can discover magnificent views of the area and hang up there for several hours of daydreaming time to view all the quaint lakeside homes from above.

There are plenty of great hiking and biking tours in Guatape. The trails are incredibly scenic as you can walk through villages, valleys, narrow rock caverns, coffee farms, riverbeds, and waterfalls. Ask us for all options and we will help you out.

We encourage you to spend a few days screen free. Enjoy the view, live in the moment, read a book, cool down with a few cervezas and work on your social skills.

We love children but Bacoa has places like steep hills and water that are not very safe for underage children.

…smack bang in the middle of glorious mother nature. We ask that you, as our guest, help us maintain our little slice of paradise with recycling, saving water etc.
